Design

The brief for the website was to use the company’s corporate identity (logo and colours) and display all information in a clean and easy to read manner.

Development

The OMG website needed to be developed as soon as possible and allow easy access for other company employees to update and maintain the information. Because of these requirements it was decided that the best course of action would be to develop the site using Wordpress. I have experience creating custom themes for Wordpress, and the OMG site design was fairly straightforward to get working, the development process was completed over a weekend.

With the site developed on Wordpress, it is easy for anyone to log in and add or update information (no need for people to know html as there is a nice WYSIWYG editor) and we can add blog functionality later.
