Origins of Mythology
“Origins of Mythology” (1999) was created as my major painting project in Senior (Year 12) Art. The brief was to create a painting using various techniques and mixed media. The work is very textured; paint thickener was added to acrylic paint for the sky and sand mixed with acrylic paint was used to create a stone texture on the Stonehenge silhouette.
