Hi my name is Helen Johnson. I am a web designer and developer living in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
I specialise in front-end website design and development, and my abilities include:

My philosophy has always been to create standards compliant and interoperable websites that not only work, but also look good.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Communication Design) from the Queensland University of Technology. While at university I learnt a wide range of media skills, such as web and graphic design, web programming, video and sound production, 3d animation and modeling and content / information architecture. Ultimately I decided to make web design and development my career.
Currently I work for Boomerang.com.au (Australia) Pty Ltd, a web development and publishing company, as a lead web designer and web manger for in-house websites.
I have previously worked in the online gaming industry for Poker.com, where I designed and managed the web portal as well as interfaces for administration systems for players and affiliates. I was also responsible for the design and style of forums, blogs and online advertising creatives.
